Narrative objects

Some stories don’t live only between the pages. Sometimes they take another shape — quieter, more tangible.

Objects drawn from the tales

In the workshop, certain elements of The Tales of Zoufftgen come to life in another way. A detail glimpsed in an illustration, a shape evoked in a story… a fragment of a world that breaks away, and becomes an object.

Slow work, in small batches

These pieces are handmade, in small batches or as one-of-a-kind objects. They require time, precision, and don’t follow a regular production rhythm. Each object is tied to a moment, a season, a story.

Objects in their own right

More than decorative items, these pieces extend the stories. They can be set down, observed, handled… and continue, in their own way, to tell.

First forms

The first pieces take the shape of acorns, inspired by the world of our village. Some are hollowed, inhabited, lit from within… as if they sheltered a quiet presence.
